Customer Survey: Apple is Mediocre, HP and Dell are Horrible

Those darn customers are always demanding unreasonable things like low prices, service with a smile and a good customer experience. The computer industry hasn't been willing to meet their crazy demands, though. At least that's the way it looks after a customer experience survey done by Forrester Research ranked almost every tech provider and manufacturer near the bottom.

Apple fanboys will be happy to know that Apple scored well above its competitors, but still faltered compared to companies from other industries.



Even with its success against other tech companies, Apple barely made it into the "good" category, ranking at number 23 out of 113. Amazon.com, for instance, tied for 3rd place. Of course, Dell and HP did much worse, coming in at 93 and 72, respectively. Wireless providers and ISPs seemed to fare just as bad or worse:
