Live Demo of Mattel Mind Flex

Remember the Mattel MindFlex I was salivating over earlier this week? The one that utilizes concentrated brainwaves to manipulate the movement of a ball through a maze? Well, we managed to film TopTenREVIEW’s very own Jessica at work with the brainwave-powered wonder toy.

Here it is:

The mechanics are straightforward enough: relax your concentration to bring the orb down; increase your concentration to levitate it up. It could cause a headache over prolonged periods of time; but then again, so can sleep, and not even in my dreams do I have (fake) telekinesis.

The Mattel MindFlex is slated for release later this year. As with Uncle Milton Industries’ Force Trainer, I expect the Mattel Mind Flex to be just as popular with adults as children.
